Adj.

Yesterday was entirely surreal.

Walking into a first-floor apartment on one of those beautifully quiet streets on the upper west side, smelling nothing but the yellowed pages of old books, finally gaining some sort of understanding of Wyatt [some]

Transversing Central Park, being as amazed as always that I'm INSIDE the city, inside this huge home of nature inside manhattan. Trying to convince my socialist friend why Lopez Obrador isn't good for Mexico [impossible]

Being woken up from a nap by a bum who classified Rudi as my "best friend" and Neha as my "best friend's woman," only to be asked for a blunt, or at least some change for him to get "really fucked up tonight" [honest, affected]

Waking up on a hill next to a rock that looked like the sacrificial stone in Narnia and verbalizing my never-said-out-loud thoughts, then remembering the path of friendships from sophomore to junior to senior year, feeling ok with saying this to my future rommmate [frightening, carefree?]

Having a lunch too big for my body in a swanky non-hole-in-the-wall hole in the wall stuck between a janky deli and a jankier deli. [not janky]

Getting some amazing perspective from my mom--exhausting yourself, aprehensive of your future, lacking a home base VS. staying up late studying and learning and getting your columns printed. [Why so lucky?]

Laughing harder than the other 9 or so people at the 10:30 showing of American Dreamz at Lincoln Center [mmmmmmm]
