Blog by a Magazine Editor About a Book : The other day I posted a link to a book review from The New Yorker about "The Long Tail" which I doubt anyone read, eventhough I swore it was interesting. Well, the author of the book who is also the editor of Wired is now keeping a blog to document the phenomenon he writes about in his book: the end of the blockbusters and the best-sellers and the age of niches complements of itunes, amazon, netflix, etc. It's all Malcom-Gladwell-Freakonomics-Tipping-Point-ish, and eventhough I've read neither of them nor this recent addition to that category, I really want to.

watching the howto literally made me intensely sad by the end of it. he honestly believes himself.
i sooo know what long tail is, from my internship nonetheless. (they reviewed the book and related it to how the book industry is going long tail with sites like amazon. bookstores can only be mass media, but with online sites niche markets have formed and flourished. which now that i read every word of ur post, u mentioned amazon so this was useless).
i could not find one book on global warming in borders, but did find an entire SHELF of ann coulter, not even including the new releases display of godless.
keith is an ass. he kinda looks like robby kennedy from LCC though. kinda.
nick and i are cheering for the creepy guy with the creepy laugh who wears suits.
ok first of all i support you on the keith thing and i pray to god they don't kick him out for whatever you told me because he makes nice creations and whatever.
on the other hand, i like angela's skirts too but did you watch the last episode? i cannot believe they didn't kick her off!!! and i was with kyle and terzic on the malan guy even though i just like him because darcy and i get a good laugh out of his annoying laugh, cause the truth is everything he made was hideous.
